I had a great time, would recommend this tour to anyone who, like me, has limited number of days in the California area and still want to see a bit of the beautiful Yosemite valley. I only had one day to spare so opted for the 1D Yosemite a..nd Giant Sequoias Tour. Gino, our guide for the day, was enthusiastic and helpful. He made sure we got the most out of our short visit. One day was never meant to be enough to fully experience Yosemite, but Gino has really worked out the best spots which allowed me to come away from the visit with a long-lasting experience. The valley itself is beautiful, photos could never really do them justice! There was even an opportunity to do a bit of walking among the giant trees in the Tuolumne Grove of Giant Sequoias, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Would recommend!Read full review
Absolutely loved the tour guide who was funny and friendly and told us so many stories (his name was Gino), saw the best sites, great photo opportunities, and the shuttle pick up was on time and comfortable bus.
It was good experience. Ben was a guide and driver at the same time. Before I took a tour , van condition was only concern cause it took long way from San francisco. but Van was comportable.
Was good. Definitely tough schedule, however, the view is awesome. And The guide (forgot name) was friendly and very helpful to us. We are actually having not like native’s english skills but it was okay to enjoy the trip.
We booked Extranomical both for a tour to Yosemite and another one to the Redwoods/Sonoma/Nappa, and were very pleased with them. The guides were informative and provided just the right amount of time for the various stops along the way. Ta..king these tours was a lot less stressful than renting a car and doing it on our own.Read full review
We took the Muir woods/wine country day tour on a Saturday, had perfect weather and an unforgettable trip. Anthony, our hilarious guide was informative and witty. He gave us fun facts and great views along the way, especially the SUNSET vie..w from the Golden Gate bridge which was beyond amazing. Muir woods, our first stop, was magical. Could have spent all day there. Off to Napa Valley for our first winery tour, then to lunch at Sonoma plaza (ate at The Red Grape, which was delicious) then to two more Sonoma Valley winerys. Cline Cellars was my favorite, the property was beautiful and the staff clearly loved their jobs (from the fun loving guys who poured our tastings to the helpful and happy men in the gift shop). I would visit that location again for sure! Last but not least, our trip home: Anthony played songs to commemorate our day and we stopped below the Golden Gate bridge for some breathtaking views/pictures and finally crossed back over the bridge for a memorable view of the sunset over water. What a Day! Thanks to Anthony and a well put together tour, we won't forget it! If you get a chance to take any tour with extranomical, I recommend it and request Anthony as your guide!Read full review
Thank you Anthony for showing us a great time! He was filled with lots of fun facts, and his sense of humor had us laughing from the start to the end of the tour. The tour was well Paced.... being sure to spend the perfect amount of time in.. each location. Despite having a rather large group, we did not feel like “SHEEP” being herded about! Thanks for the memories which my family and I are sure to take with us forever!Read full review
I enjoyed the trip but could be further helpful if some guidance were available in advance to the visit like the short stop spots, avarage stay time at the destination with treckgi/walking distace indication to easier how plan usgi the limi..ted stay time. Two day trip might be advised to fully enjoy the park.Read full review
This tour was awesome! Affordable, diverse, fun, and accommodating! We were unable to make our original reservation due to travel issues and they allowed us to sign up for a different date during our trip! The pick up was right on time by o..ur lovely guide, Anthony. He was super funny, knowledgeable, and speedy :) The Muir Woods were beautiful, but chilly. Bring a jacket! Each winery had something special about it- the flavors, the views, the organization, the people, etc. I would recommend this tour to anyone who wants a fun filled day with lovely views :)Read full review
